Description:
This evening gown is made of taffeta and has a net overlay that is heavily decorated with sequins and beads. There is net trim around the neckline that is embellished with beads. The sleeves are very short and there is blousing at the front of the boned bodice. The skirt has a ruffled hem and a train. The underskirt has knife pleats at the hem. Features that indicate this dress is from the early 1900s are the short sleeves, the boned bodice, the narrow waist, and the monobosom.
