Description:
This embroidered silk tunic dress has an overlay of brown lace. It has long unlined lace sleeves that are attached to a cape. The hem is long and the fit is loose. Features that are indicative of the late 1920s are the straight silhouette, the floor length hem, and the tunic style. 

This dress was worn by Mrs. W. R. Roach to the inauguration of President Herbert Hoover in 1929.
