This evening dress of taffeta has a metallic lace overlay over the bodice. The straps over the shoulders are made of taffeta and are embellished with beads and taffeta flowers. The short sleeves are unlined and are made of metallic lace. The skirt also has an overskirt which is made half of taffeta and the other half of metallic lace. The hem of the overskirt is decorated with fabric flowers and there is taffeta draped at the waist on the proper right side. Features that indicate this dress is from the early 1900s are the short sleeves, the short skirt hem, and the square neckline.
