Description:

This black academic cap, or mortarboard, accompanies gown 159697 and was worn by Mabel W. Filkins. A black tassel is attached to the top and there is an interior label stamped in silver that reads "W. C. Kern & Co., Maker of College Caps, Gowns, and Hoods, Renting of College Gowns & Caps, A Specialty, 411 E. 57th St., Chicago".
