This poke bonnet of batiste features a large brim to help protect from sun exposure. There are ruffles along the edges of the bonnet and the ruffles are trimmed in lace. There is also lace trim where the crown meets the brim. This bonnet has a curtain sewn along the back of the neck that helped protect from the sun. There are ribbons on both the left and right sides that tie underneath the chin and help keep the bonnet in place.
