This bonnet-style nightcap is made of batiste and has been woven into a checked pattern. There is embroidery along the edge of the brim and ruffles around the edges of the bonnet. The ruffle edge is trimmed with lace. There are ribbons on both the left and right sides that tie underneath the chin which help to keep the nightcap in place. This nightcap belonged to Mrs. George Wykes.
