Description:
A poster from the 1880's advertising the play "The Two Orphans" produced by "Furbish's Fifth Avenue Combination". The poster is sepia-toned with black typeface displaying the name of the perfomance and the company ,"Fubish's Fifth Avenue Combination". The play was written by Eugene Cormon and Adolphe d'Ennery as Les Deux Orphelines. The poster also lists Chas E. Furbish as the manager and R.E. Stevens as the business agent. It states "Theatre" in bold letters across the top.;Found pasted to a brick wall of a apartment purchased by the donor's mother. The building is at Monroe. The wall the poster was found on was probably orignally an exterior wall which would explain why a poster was pasted on it.
