Thin, paper-like canvas or canvas-like paper banner or sign painted in red, blue & black on white background. Text: 'National Air Mail Week' / 'Give Wings to your Letters' / 'May 15-21'. Two letters (images of): one in blue with the words 'Mr. and Mrs. Public, Anywhere, U.S.A.' and 'via air'; the second letter, a white background (the papr/canvas) with scribbled text and two wings, all in red.;ACCEPT after discussion National Air Mail Week was celebrated regularly (nationally) from 1936-1938. Posters were printed, commemorative stamps were issued, & 'barnstorming' performances were held - all to stimulate the use of airmail.
