This candle stand is made of maple and has a rectangular top with shaped corners. It stands on a turned pedestal supported by three feet.According to museum records, this candle stand is from Salem, Massachusetts. It was donated by Mrs. J. Stuart Clingman to the Grand Rapids Furniture Museum who later donated its collection to the Grand Rapids Public Museum in 1959.
