This white nightgown is made of cotton and features embroidery on the yoke and cuffs. There are also buttons down the center front. According to museum records, it was part of a trousseau brought by a stagecoach in 1841 from Buffalo, New York to Detroit, Michigan by Bridget O' Connor Ash, grandmother of the donor.
