Description:
This black ensemble consists of a slip and blouse. The upper portion of the slip is white and the lower portion is made of black silk that creates the flounce skirt. The blouse is also made of silk and has an attached cape that falls over the shoulders and arms. It has a bateau collar and the back has a V-cutout in the cape. There is also draped fabric on the back. Features that are indicative of the 1920s are the short hem, the dropped waist, and the tubular silhouette.
