Short wood staff with thin metal spike stuck into one end. The stick is painted orange, with a black tip, over which are painted floral and geometric patterns in yellow, black, and dark green.;An old museum label noted that this type of staff was carried for protection by indigenous chiefs of Sri Lanka. / Good artifact.
