This muslin bonnet features slight ruching and eyelets around the sides and top of the head. There is a tie at the back of the neck that allows that wearer to adjust the tightness of the bonnet. Ribbons can be seen on both the left and right sides which tie underneath the chin and were used to secure the bonnet. This bonnet was worn by Sarah Ellen Chup who was an Amish woman. She was also the donor's grandmother.
