This hat is made of woven straw. The base of the crown is decorated with black net and there is a velvet covered wire on the front of the hat. This hat also has a straw band that goes under the chin to help hold it in place. The sweatband is made of black petersham ribbon and there is a label that reads "New York Creation, Adjustable, Fair Labor Standards, Consumer's Protection Label".
