Patrick Laurie (donor) Lt. Col. Patrick W. Laurie (used by) Lt. Col. Patrick William Laurie was born on October 12th, 1912 in Detroit, Michigan. He received his bachelor's degree from Drury College in Missouri and later worked as a teacher and principal in Noel, Missouri. Laurie enlisted in the United States Army in 1933 and served until retirement in 1962. He died on July 28th, 1996, and is buried at Fort Gibson Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
