Description:
This green push-button telephone, model 1500, was manufactured by Western Electric between 1963 and 1968. It features a ten-button dial pad with the 0 button reading "Operator". A stamp on the interior of the handset reads "Western Electric | Made in USA" and a stamp behind the cradle reads "Bell System | Made By | Western Electric". 

This telephone was part of a collection belonging to Bryant Zimmerman, owner of ZK Tech Inc. and Grand Dial Communications in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Bryant Edward Zimmerman, born on December 28th, 1972, graduated from Hastings High School and attended ITT Technical Institute. He was the owner of ZK Tech Inc. and Grand Dial Communications of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was active in many different organizations including WMNT User Group, Qua-Ke-Zik Sportsman's Club, Landmark Education, Ambucks, First Lego League, St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Veteran's Chow Hall, and Golden Leads Referral Group. Zimmerman passed away on December 9th, 2021.
