Description:
This brown rotary telephone, known as the Sculptura or doughnut phone, was manufactured by Western Electric and designed by Donald M. Genaro for Henry Dreyfuss and Associates. Offered in white, yellow, and brown, it was introduced after AT&T expanded phone production to third-party companies under a Design Line, allowing customers to select telephones that fit their home decor while still using AT&T technology. 

This telephone was part of a collection belonging to Bryant Zimmerman, owner of ZK Tech Inc. and Grand Dial Communications in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Bryant Edward Zimmerman, born on December 28th, 1972, graduated from Hastings High School and attended ITT Technical Institute. He was the owner of ZK Tech Inc. and Grand Dial Communications of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was active in many different organizations including WMNT User Group, Qua-Ke-Zik Sportsman's Club, Landmark Education, Ambucks, First Lego League, St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Veteran's Chow Hall, and Golden Leads Referral Group. Zimmerman passed away on December 9th, 2021.
