Description:
This telephone, model PH-1400, was manufactured by Lenoxx Electronics Corporation around 1995 and is made of transparent plastic which allowed a view of the interior electrical components. The handset connects to the base with a black coiled cord and the base has an area where the owner could handwrite the names and numbers of their contacts. Transparent products such as this phone were at the height of popularity during the clear craze from the late 1980s to 1990s. Many companies began producing see-through versions of their products at this time, including Nintendo and Apple.
This telephone was part of a collection belonging to Bryant Zimmerman, owner of ZK Tech Inc. and Grand Dial Communications in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Bryant Edward Zimmerman, born on December 28th, 1972, graduated from Hastings High School and attended ITT Technical Institute. He was the owner of ZK Tech Inc. and Grand Dial Communications of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was active in many different organizations including WMNT User Group, Qua-Ke-Zik Sportsman's Club, Landmark Education, Ambucks, First Lego League, St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Veteran's Chow Hall, and Golden Leads Referral Group. Zimmerman passed away on December 9th, 2021.
