This Marksmanship badge is a sharpshooter carbine badge and was awarded to Grand Rapids resident Private Kenneth Veneklasen who served in the 82nd Airborne Division in the United States Army during World War II. It was displayed in a shadow box with other medals awarded to Veneklasen for his military service.
