This combination cap, also called a combination cover, is from the United States Navy and was worn by Lieutenant Commander Jennifer Jo Collin of the Medical Services Corps from 2005 to 2016. It is made of black and white cotton and features the officer's insignia on the front. The sides are turned up, earning it the nickname 'bucket cover', and it has a gold band above the brim. This style of combination was worn by women in the Navy from 1942 until October 31st, 2016 when the style was retired in favor of a unisex cover.
