Description:
This off-white wedding hat accompanies wedding dress number 2018.45.1. It has a wire frame covered in nylon net and there is lace applique throughout. There are also pearl beads and rhinestones throughout and a net veil hangs from the back of the hat. The proper right side of the brim is turned up and is decorated with artificial flowers. This hat was stored in a pink cardboard box from T & G Bridal.
This wedding hat was worn by Audean Suzanne Zinger when she married Timothy Keith Vatter on May 30th, 1984. The wedding took place at the United Methodist Church in Ubly, Michigan.

Audean Suzanne Zinger Vatter was born on January 17th, 1956 in Bad Axe, Michigan to Johnnie and Ernest Zinger. She was one of six siblings, all of which helped with the family business at the Zinger Funeral Home in Ubly, Michigan. On May 28th, 1984 she married Timothy Keith Vatter and together they had three children: Anthony, Alyssa, and Kelsey.
