Named after George Kendall, the Kendall building was built in the early 1880's and was used as an office building.The building has had multiple attempted renovations, and after sitting mostly empty since 1966, and entirely empty since 1988. In 2012 616 Lofts Development acquired the property and began renovations to convert the building into residential and commercial spaces. Renovations were completed in 2013
