A ferrule may be missing from the bottom.A partially worn away label affixed directly to the cane just below the handle associates this artifact with the 1933 Chicago World's Fair: "TRAVEL AND TRANSPORT / A CENTURY OF PROGRESS / CHICAGO 1933."
