Description:
This is an example of the original IBM PC, the Model 5150. Originally released in 1981 for a retail price of about $1500, the 5150 was an instant hit for IBM and revolutionized the market for personal computers.  The 5150 was affordable, easy to use, and had a variety of useful applications from business to gaming.  This unit consists of a work computer, monochrome monitor, original keyboard, an owner’s manual, and software including DOS 1.1, BASIC, SuperCalc, PFS Write, PFS Report, and PFS File.
