My Dear Sir,
This morning I commenced to insert the matter you kindly sent me for Michigan in the War but discovered a necessity for some statement as to the number of Confederates in hospital at Harrodsburg asw I notice the statement of the rebel surgeons refers to them. Extent and condition of the hospitals and from what engagements the wounded principally were brought. Please reply by return mail.
