CDV of Captain Garrett Hannings from kalamazoo Michigan. Hannings entered service as a Captain aged 39 at organization 9/2/1861. He served thru the war receiving promotions to Major 1/1/1864 and Lt. Colonel 11/3/1864 and mustered out with the regiment 9/22/1865.
