Black and white photograph shows the brewery with wagons loaded with kegs on the streets in front. This item is part of accession 138059, the contents of the cornerstone time capsule from the original Grand Rapids Brewing Company, which was built in 1895. The business was a merger of six local brewers, all German immigrants to the USA. It became regionally prominent by the early 20th century, and remained so until it was dissolved during the Prohibition era.
