Multi tiered yellow and greeen cotton cloth decorative hanging lantern (does not light up). mIt has small round mirrors with yellow or green embroidered stars around them. Each of the tiers is decorated with hanging triangles that have round ball fringe on the end.;Diwali is one of the festivals most often celebrated by Asian Indian Hindus and Sikhs in America. This five day celebration is also known as the “Festival of Lights.� In the Hindu religion light symbolizes goodness. Throughout Diwali, diyas, small lamps, are lit all day and into the night to ward off darkness and evil. Homes are adorned with all types of diyas, candles, and decorative lights.
