The furniture industry was the dingle most important industry in the history of the region. It may be used for future research or exhibition regarding the furniture industry, labor history, or ethnicity.;Seal reads, "Wood Carvers Association Grand Rapids, Michigan", and bears the crossed symbols of a chisel and a mallet.;This seal provides official documentation of the labor movement among skilled wirkers in the Grand Rapids furniture industry.
