Hardbound pocket catechism with cloth cover and side-by-side German and English printed text. The cover reads "Biblischer Katechismus/German-English." There are a total of 59 numbered pages, and the copyright date is 1904. Small marks and notes are penciled throughout the pages.;The catechism is marked in several places with a Grand Rapids Public Museum Library stamp.;1) An ornate, full-color label is fixed to the interior front cover; the label is printed with King James version Biblical text.;"Miss Emogene Perschbacher/English Methodist Church" is handwritten on the interior of the front cover. "Miss Emogene Perschbacher/West Bend, Wisconsin," as well as some Bible passages, are written on the obverse of the first page. All of the text is handwritten in cursive, with a pencil. |
