Digital reproduction of a traditional studio portrait of Hyon Kyoung Yi (Regina Chin) at the occasion of her 100-day of birth celebration. The baby is sitting up and dressed in coat with large scalloped collar, pants, and soft shoes.;This photograph along with others in the collection, show how cltural traditions are carried on in the adopted homeland. Mrs. Yi, mother of the donor and owner of Lee's Oriental Market, makes 100-day cakes to order for local residents.;The original of this image is held by the donors.;Korean lettering that may be her name or the name of the studio is in the lower right hand side of the photo.;The Yi family, well-known owners of Lee's Oriental (Korean) Market, have been part of the diversity of Grand Rapids since the early 1980s.Materials:
