Description:
This baseball uniform is from the Contractors Machinery Company baseball team. It was a company team supported by the Works Progress Administration that operated in the 1930s. This uniform was worn by the donor's grandfather who was a player on the team. 

This tan baseball uniform is made of wool and consists of two pieces that include a shirt and pants. The shirt has red trim throughout and the initials W.P.A. run across the chest in red applique. The back of the shirt reads "Contractors Mchy Co.".
