Prayer on paper, per ledger "Lama prints", possibly made by the Kent Scientific Museum or an institution in New York. Prayer board not photographed. Content of prayer boards is not necessarily religious.;Identified by Bennet Bronson, Professor of History, University of Illinois Chicago, IL; tel: 312.665.7832;Note: ledger states that this item was made by monks at a temple in Chengde (Jehol), Hebei Province, SW Manchuria, China.;Text in Tibetan/unknown script, with several Chinese characters on one print.
