The has been placed in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League Archival Collection #66.;These cards depict many of the players from the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, of which Grand Rapids team, the Chicks, was an integral part. Players of this league were pioneers in the development of women's professional sports. The cards will be used as part of the 'Leagues of Their Own' temporary exhibit.;The cards were sent individually to each player by Ms. Zuris, who asked them to sign and return them to her.;57 of the cards have original player autographs. |
