Description:
Figure is standing with arms at its sides; in its right hand it holds a white baseball. The face is painted grey-brown flesh tone, with green eyes and red lips. It is wearing a Brooklyn Dodgers baseball uniform, a blue cap with a white 'B' painted on the front, a light blue short-sleeved shirt with 5 white buttons and the word 'Dodgers' in blue paint across the chest, light blue pants with a black belt, black socks, black leather shoes with white inverted triangle on front are attached to plywood stand with nails. Dolls were used by the B'nai B'rith Women, Grand Rapids Chapter, as part of the national B'nai B'rith Women's 'Dolls for Democracy' program, to educate local school and community groups about the worth and dignity of every human being and every individual's right to full and equal opportunity to develop to full potential.
