Description:
Rectangular seat back, crest and back rails form trapezoid with stiles, which is filled in by four turned spindles. Four simple rectangular legs support trapezoidal seat and are locked into place by steel folding mechanism. Wooden seat upholstered with bamboo textured cellulose fiber pad. Blonde wood finish.;CURATORIAL RECOMMENDATION: ACCEPT RELEVANCE: Excellent example of furnishings made for small houses during the post-World War II building boom. Purchased and used in Grand Rapids.
