Ihling Brothers Everard Company was founded in 1869 by Otto Ihling in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It specializes in Masonic and fraternal regalia. By 1871 there were three men in the partnership: Otto Ihling, W. J. Chaplin, and Reinhold Ihling. They created blank books, ledgers, and published "The Michigan Freemason". In 1879 Herbert Everard also joined the company. The company supplied many places with their stationary such as the Michigan House of Representative and the Michigan Senate. In 1995 the company was bought by James Bellinger who renamed it Kalamazoo Regalia. He owned the company until he retired in 2007. It 2011 the company merged with Kalamazoo Sportswear and became Kalamazoo Sportswear and Regalia. As of 2017, it is still in business.  The Henderson-Ames Company (creator)

The Henderson-Ames Company was located in Kalamazoo, Michigan and was founded in 1850 by Frank Henderson. Frank originally sold merchandise such as swords and regalia under his own name. This lasted until he formed a partnership with Theron F. Giddings in 1871. The company was renamed Henderson and Giddings Company but reverted back to Frank Henderson in 1873. Henderson Ames Company was formed in 1893 and kept the name until 1923. It was later bought in 1925 by M.C. Lilley and Company and the name was changed to The Lilley Company. The name was changed again in 1931 to Lilley-Ames Company. The company was bought in 1951 by C.W. Ward.
