Description:
The collection includes two specimens.  Specimen A (1289320) Rosa carolina was collected by Jennie Shaddick on September 7, 1895.  Specimen B (1289321) Rosa palustris was collected by  Homer C. Skeels on July 19, 1895.
Both specimens were collected in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan.  No specific collection locality in Grand Rapids was noted for either specimen.
