Cast brass. Red enamel with small blue and white stars. Crest reads: American Bell Association, 1950, New York. 3 clappers According to Mrs. Speir's notebook "Collection of Bells owned by Carrie Ward Speir/My Harmonius Hobby": Gift from Mr. Sarna to members of the Association. Per members at the Bell Association Convention held in Grand Rapids in July 2003, this bell (Mrs. Speir's #179). Mr. Sarna was from India and had an import company that imported bells from India & Bali.
