A two-piece wool bathing suit dating 1902-1906. It includes a shirt and bloomers combination garment that buttons at the front and an overskirt worn for modesty. Sailor suits influenced bathing dress during this period, as seen with the collar and tie.

What Price Beauty?
(2012 – 2013)Artifact GR was a project which invited members of the community into the archives of the Grand Rapids Public Museum, and asked them to write about their experiences.
