Description:
This tan vest is made of cotton and features metallic embroidery throughout. It is double breasted and has a shawl lapel. The back of the vest is made of brown linen and the interior is lined with tan linen. This vest has a welt pocket on either side of the waist as well as a welt pocket on the proper left breast. There is also an adjustable strap at the lower back. The name 'Theo J. Campau' is written on the interior of the vest, as is the date May 29, 1858.
