This two-piece ensemble consists of a coat and a vest. The tuxedo coat is made of black wool and has a single buttons closure down the center front. It has peaked lapels faced with silk and a jet pocket on either side of the waist. There is a welt pocket on the proper left breast and there is a pin representing the White Shrine of Jerusalem on it. The shoulders are padded and there are three buttons on each sleeve cuff. The lining is made of black silk and there is a maker label from Richman Brothers of Cleveland, Ohio. The formal vest is also made of black wool and has a shawl lapel as well as two welt pockets at the waist.
