Description:

This silver brooch is made of metal and features a raised floral design. 

Brooches such as this were often used in the national costume of Latvia to fasten shirts and shawls. Costumes that featured many pieces of jewelry signified a wealthy family. Popular Latvian brooches were made of silver and featured thimble-like bubble decorations and red glass beads.
