Description:
Porcelain vase with square base, high shoulder, and two leaf-like, wrought iron (?) handles. Decorated in bright turquoise enamel, with gold-painted accents, handles, and trim. A floral design is painted on a white background on one side, while the other depicts a man and woman looking at a small dog dressed in human clothes. The latter side, as well as the base, is ringed with small red stones or chips of glass. The ornate lid has white enamel leaves, a turquoise base, and gold trim.;The initials "F. C." appear in gold, along with a maker's mark or other symbol, on the bottom of the vase.
