Black obi with repeating pagoda in landscape scene. An obi is the sash women wear around the waist with a kimono. It is long enough to wrap around twice and tie in the back.;An obi is the belt or sash worn around the waist underneath the hakama. It measures approximately 2-3 meters in length (enough to wrap around the body twice and tie at the back) and is typically made of bleached cotton.
