Description:
This celestial map is made of cardboard and would have been used to find constellations in the night sky during different times of the year.

Astrology has been practiced for as long as humans have been looking at the sky and many early civilizations such as the Harappans, the Mayans, and the ancient Chinese used astronomy to keep track of time. Early astronomy was a mix of careful observation of the positions and motions of the heavenly bodies, religion, and astrology.
