Description:
Lid is smooth with gentle ogee curve, finial handle on top and beading around the rim. Rounded lip with beading removes from lip of dish. Dish is circular and squat in shape with two floral side handles. Dish sits atop four attached, scrolled bracket feet.;Dish is a documented piece relating to a member of the Voigt family, whose possessions are interpreted in the Museum's Voigt House. As a wedding gift, the dish documents social customs of the period.;On bottom of dish, BARBOUR SILVER CO./SILVER/QUADRUPLE/2006;Acquired by donor as contents of the Wilcox Community Building at 1924 Lake Dr SE, from an apartment which had at one time been occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Perkins.
