Description

Corl, Knott & Co. was established in 1890 when Samuel Corl and Herbert Knott formed a partnership to start a millinery in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Corl was the President of the company and Knott was the Vice-President and Treasurer. The business was originally located at 75 Monroe Street in Grand Rapids but was moved to 20-22 North Division Street in 1891. The company relocated again in 1912 to Commerce Avenue.
