Founders Brewing Company is a craft brewery founded in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1997 by Mike Stevens and Dave Engbers. It has become one of the most prominent breweries in Michigan, as well as receiving international acclaim for its products in the World Beer Cup. The brewery location also features a taproom which offers Founders beer, deli sandwiches, and frequent live music. Founders beer is known for its full and intense taste, with often high alcohol content.
