Pair of small red slippers with single-button fasteners, thin brown leather soles. A large magenta flower is embroidered on each toe; black trim around upper.;From 1919-1940 Dr. Huizenga placed many items on 'permanent deposit'; these were converted to a gift by daughter Ann mid-1970s.;1) One shoe has label on sole, with one black Chinese character over two red ones. |
